… and I’m still inside the house. No fireworks for me — I’ve sworn them off years ago when my Asthma got too sensitive to the smoke. Pero OK lang. I still find the explosions very agreeable; unlike my youngest son who still hasn’t discovered the joy of noise — past his bedtime na daw kasi. Hehehe.
My daughter, on the other hand, seems not just to have inherited my intellect (eherm), but my Asthma as well. Kaya andito rin siya sa loob ng bahay kagaya ng Tatay niya, nagto-torotot… kumakain… naghahandang tumalon at the stroke of midnight.
15 minutes to midnight. Mas lumalakas at dumadalas na ang fireworks sa labas… pero still not as loud and as long as last year. Bakit kaya? Is it because of economic reasons, or is the DOH finally making headway at convincing the public that fireworks bring more bad than good?
Ewan. Your guess is as good as mine.
10 minutes to go. Getting really loud outside! Pati yung volume ng usap namin sa loob ng bahay ay halos sigawan na (but in a good way).
5 minutes to go!
I wonder what 2014 has in store for all of us?
