An intriguing Saturday afternoon with JDV3rd

Last Feb. 16, somewhere in UP Diliman (at around 3 in the afternoon), Joey “Back Off” De Venecia III, whose original testimony at the Senate opened the floodgates of the ZTE-NBN Super Scandal, was the featured speaker at a Laban ng Masa-initiated forum about Mr. Jun Lozada, the latest whistle blower and current darling of the anti-corruption-in-government crowd (that’s a BIG crowd… one growing by the day).

Granted Joey isn’t as “clean” as Jun seems to be (relatively speaking, of course — neither of them claim to be “clean”, unlike some implicated government officials who are irritatingly adamant about their “innocence”… Haaay), he nevertheless exudes a particular aura of credibility (or, at least, believability) that Mr. Kumisyoner, Big Mike and Little Mike, and the rest of the GMAfia can NEVER hope to match (Not Now. Not Ever. NEVER!)

Naniniwala ako sa mga sinasabi ni Joey, pati na rin sa mga sinasabi ni Jun. At kung maglalakas-loob lang sana si Sec. Romulo Neri na magsabi din ng totoo… maniniwala din ako sa kanya.
