Who are the people in our Government?

One song that remains one of my all-time favorites is “People in your Neighborhood” (who are the people in your neighborhood? in your neighborhood? in your neigh…bor…hood?)

While watching Jun Lozada’s televised testimony at the Senate NBN-ZTE Scandal Hearing today, I was mentally humming this song. 🙂

But I replaced the word “neighborhood” with “government” (na hindi naman nakasira sa tempo nung kanta) and listed down my answers. Try nyo din. One… two… ready… sing!

Oh… who are the people in your government,

In your government,

In your go…vern…ment?

Say, who are the people in your government?

The people that you meet each day?

Magnanakaw is a person in your government…

Mamamatay-tao is a person in your government…

Sinungaling is a person in your government…

Gahaman is a person in your government…

Mandurugas is a person in your government…

Garapal is a person in your government…

They’re the people that we meet

When we’re crossing down the street

They’re the people that we meet… each… daaay! 🙂
