A Piece (or pieces) of History

Sandali. I’m not talking about a chunk of concrete from the Berlin Wall or a sliver of wood from the True Cross. Neither am I talking about a strand of Hen. Macario Sakay’s hair nor of the lead slug that ended Jose Rizal’s life.

No. Nothing as fancy as those things.

Not fancy BUT definitely much more current.

Truth is, I managed to get several shards of glass from the shattered windshield of one of the cars parked under the roof of the Southwing Entrance of the House of Representatives when it suddenly and inexplicably (at least that night) blew up that evening of November 13. Why did it blow up in the first place? Better ask Panyerong Selvo na lang.

No. I wasn’t one of the “Uzis” who immediately milled around the crime scene that evening. Hindi rin ako Media o SOCO. At mas lalong hindi ako Kongresista (bodyguard pa siguro. hehehe)

Actually, kilala ko kasi yung may-ari nung kotseng yun at, in fact, sa opisina namin ito naka-park ngayon. Kaya pumitik ako ng ilang pirasong bubog para may souvenir :-)

That’s the car behind the two guys in blue overalls. And here’s the very same car parked in our garage. Cool, di bala?

    Taroogs - tama ka, kapatid na Kiko, hindi dapat kalimutan na may apat na taong namatay dahil sa pagsabog na ito at marami pang nasugatan… tungkol sa bubog, silip pa ko sa baba kung may naiwan… kung sakaling wala na, yuping bumper, type mo? :-)
